About

Ink Imaginarium is a hand-drawn illustration series created by Fat Pepper Illustration, owned by Adela, an illustrator and artist living in Spain.

The black and white illustrations are created using pigment liners of different sizes on A4 white paper and are meant to portray a world of artist’s imagination.

Every drawing in the Ink Imaginarium series starts either completely from the artist’s imagination, or using a reference image and developing from there. She first draws an outline in pencil and after she re-draws it with pigment liners, adding details as the artwork develops. It’s a process of meditation and relaxation that goes on for many hours, and it takes several days to complete a single illustration. Adela usually works listening to an audiobook, playing a video in the background, or while travelling.

She recently has extended the Ink Imaginarium series by adding a Fan Art series where she draws her favourite characters, placing them in her own imaginary ink world.
